Smothers Summer Academy has for the last 4 years been successful in implementing positive values and offering wholesome experiences for children who are currently foster and or adopted youth . All children are allowed to participate in the Summer Academy, but this program specializes in the delicate needs of children who have had a non-traditional upbringing. Students who participate in this summer program have made remarkable progress in the areas of Language Arts and Mathematics. We are truly proud of their progress and commitment to education. The success that the Smothers Summer Academy has had is only a small portion of what can be accomplished on a more grand scale with the Smothers Academy Preparatory School for Arts and Sciences.
